For the first time, Geia Food’s group revenue for 2023 surpasses 3 billion DKK in a year marked by more stable yet still challenging market conditions. The acquisition of Topfoods in Finland at the beginning of the year contributed positively to the group’s increasing revenue.

Geia Food A/S achieved a net profit of 51.7 million DKK in 2023, an increase of 10.8 million DKK compared to 2022. The total group revenue reached 3.007 billion DKK, an increase of 267 million DKK from the previous year, representing a growth of nearly 10%. “We are pleased with this year’s result, which was achieved under difficult commercial conditions in several of the markets we operate in,” says Claus Ravnsbo.

In addition to the acquisition of the Finnish company Topfoods at the beginning of 2023, Geia Food continued its strategic focus of seeking out and preparing for coming M&A activities:

“We have many interesting dialogues with both domestic and international companies. The market for M&A was challenging in 2023 – 2024 looks brighter, so I am confident that we will see further acquisitions within the group in the near future,” says Claus Ravnsbo.
